Nuki’s fourth album “Volki smotryat v les” is out

On 31 January 2020 Nuki’s fourth studio album “Volki smotryat v les” came out — 12 songs, among them “Strana”, “Pishchevaya tsepochka” and “Goryacho”.

The album came out on the M2BA label — “Volki smotryat v les” on Apple Music. Listeners already knew two of the 12 songs: the 2018 single “Strana” and “Pishchevaya tsepochka”, whose video had come out two weeks before the album.

The presentations took place in February and March: on 27 February the band played the album at Avrora in St Petersburg, on 6 March at Arbat Hall in Moscow. The concerts in Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar and Voronezh, scheduled for 21–23 February, were cancelled.

In the spring of 2020 lockdown stopped the concerts. On 31 March Nuki posted an acoustic “quarantine session” of “Vorony” from the new album, and by the end of May the series “Akustika na karantine” had grown by six more videos.

On 1 April 2021 the band wrote that in the year since “we were all locked up at home” it had not managed to take the album around the country. The April concerts in Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar and Voronezh did not happen this time either. The band played the album in Moscow, St Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod in the autumn of 2021 and in Mytishchi and Murmansk in the spring of 2022; later “Volki smotryat v les” won “Chartova Dyuzhina” in the “Album” category.
