“Chartova Dyuzhina”: Nuki take the “Side project” category

Voting for the Nashe Radio award opened in December 2022, and Nuki invited listeners to back the formation in three categories — “Music video”, “Concert” and “Side project” — and Dariya as “Female soloist”. In the second stage, which began on 23 January, the band asked for votes in “Side project” and “Female soloist”; the results were promised for 22 February on air.

On the evening of 22 February Nuki wrote: “Hooray! The side project category is ours!” According to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, the winners of the XVI “Chartova Dyuzhina” were decided by listeners voting on the Nashe Radio website.

The band received the award itself in the spring: on 5 May 2023 Nuki wrote that “the award has found its winner” and thanked Nashe Radio. The award had recognised them before: Dariya won the “Female soloist” category of the XIII “Chartova Dyuzhina”, and the album “Volki smotryat v les” won in the “Album” category.
