Nuki’s fifth album “Terapiya” is out
On 22 November 2024 Nuki’s fifth studio album “Terapiya” came out — 13 songs, the first album after Dariya Stavrovich left Slot.
The album was recorded through the autumn: on 18 September the band had almost finished the drum parts, on 3 October Viktor Kucher completed the guitars. On 24 October Nuki announced that the album had been delivered and was called “Terapiya” (“Therapy”): “The treatment is scheduled for 22 November 2024.”
On 9 November pre-orders opened, and two days earlier backers of the Planeta.ru campaign heard the album in a Moscow bar. On 19 November the band recorded the show “Pro pank” on Nashe Radio and played “Zombi-zombi” on it ahead of the album.
“Terapiya” came out at midnight on 22 November on the M2BA label — the album on Apple Music. It has 13 songs, among them the singles “Sabotazh”, “Spichka” and “Ne nuzhny”; Dmitry Simonov played bass on the recording.
On 27 November the band published the lyrics of all the songs on VK. Later Nuki told that the song “Tabletki i skotch” was first called “Terapiya” — it was renamed when the album got that title.
