Guitarist Viktor Kucher joins Nuki
On 11 June 2024, three days before a new single, Nuki introduced a new member — guitarist Viktor Kucher.
“With a new single on the way, it’s time to show our cards” — with these words on 11 June 2024 the band introduced guitarist Viktor Kucher. Listeners already knew him, and the band noted it: “though you all know him anyway”.
Kucher had played with Nuki before. In September 2022 the band announced him as a special guest of the anniversary concerts on 7 October at Kosmonavt in St Petersburg and on 8 October at Urban in Moscow, and wrote that he had “travelled to lots of cities with us”. According to Nashe Radio (June 2024), Kucher had played in the band Grizzly Knows No Remorse since 2009.
In October 2024 Kucher wrote in the band’s channel that a little over five months had passed since he and Dariya had started writing together, and that he had finished recording all the guitars for the new album. The album “Terapiya” came out on 22 November 2024.
